This is what I am going to have for breakfast, if there is any left.
It is granola. I made it a few days ago. It is yummy. And good for you. You should make some.
mix in a bowl:
2 cups old fashioned oats
2 cups quick oats
1 cup wheat germ
4T brown sugar
1 t salt
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup almonds
mix in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat:
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup honey
6T vegetable or canola oil
2T water
1/2 t vanilla
once liquid boils, pour over ingredients in bowl. mix and clump with hands. Bake @ 275 for 45 min on sprayed cookie sheet, stirring occasionally. Add 1/2 cup craisins before last 15 min.
